Midwest Reproductive Health
Midwest Reproductive Health is an independent abortion clinic opening up in Rockford, IL. As our name suggests, we aim to provide care not only to the Rockford community, but everyone in the Midwest (and further) seeking reproductive healthcare. Strategically chosen in an accessible area, this clinic will offer abortion care, STI/STD testing, and birth control. We aim to be a resource center for the community and have partnered with many local organization to ensure a whole patient approach. Rockford Family Planning Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization that provides support for Midwest Reproductive Health, PLLC.

As access to care becomes more and more limited around the country, Illinois remains a protective state for abortion care. in Illinois:
Abortion is covered by Medicaid.
Abortion providers are protected from investigation by other states.
Patient data is state protected.
Patients do not need to undergo a waiting period before their procedure.
Qualified Health Care professionals can be providers.

Independent clinics provide the majority of abortion care in the United States. Nearly 1/3 of independent clinics have closed in the past decade. The Rockford Family Planning Association’s mission to provide comprehensive care in Rockford Illinois directly impacts patient access across the country.
